FEAST OF SAINT CLAUDINE THÉVENET
On 2nd February, 2026, the students of Class 9 reverently conducted a special assembly on Feast of Saint Claudine Thévenet, our Mother Foundress.
The assembly commenced with the warm welcoming of the Sisters, followed by the lighting of the traditional lamp, symbolising faith and hope. This was followed by a solemn prayer service and a graceful prayer dance that set a reflective and prayerful atmosphere.
The life of Saint Claudine Thévenet—marked by deep faith, forgiveness, and compassionate service—was beautifully depicted through a meaningful dance drama, enriched by a well-edited presentation. The students highlighted her unwavering trust in God and her mission of educating the young, especially the poor and the abandoned.
The Sisters of the community were sincerely thanked for their selfless service, dedication, and commitment to value-based education. Their tireless efforts in shaping young minds and hearts, and their preferential care for the underprivileged, stand as a living continuation of Saint Claudine’s vision.
In her concluding address, the Principal, Rev. Sr. Leena, shared thoughtful insights into the French Revolution and the difficult circumstances faced by the Sisters when they journeyed from France to Agra. Her words helped the students appreciate the courage, sacrifices, and strong faith that shaped the Congregation’s mission.
The assembly concluded with a renewed call to live out faith through love, service, and hope, inspiring all to follow the path shown by Saint Claudine Thévenet.
